My name is Orlin Milanov. I'm from Sofia. Even if only as a hobby, I have been actively involved with raising and breeding Rottweilers ever since 1990...
BRIEF HISTORICAL SUMMARY : The Rottweiler is considered to be one of the oldest dog breeds. Its origin goes back to Roman times. These dogs were kept as herder or driving dogs. They marched over the Alps with the Roman legions, protecting the humans and driving their cattle. In the region of Rottweil, these dogs met and mixed with the native dogs in a natural crossing.

Care, training and more for Your rottweiler: ROTTWEILER - FAQ,HOW, WHEN, WHY and HOW MUCH? :)
VERRY IMPORTAND: FOR FUTURE BREEDERS OR ROTT-OWNERS

Rottweilers aren't dogs for beginners. Still, if you can't resist the temptation to have at your side one of these black devils, brave and pure-hearted as a child, please remember that our beloved breed needs a firm, but not rough, hand. It also needs lots of attention without being spoilt or allowed to set the rules of the game.

Never forget that a Rottweiler who has not been taught to respect and obey humans as supreme masters in his life is most likely to become a serious problem both for his owner and for everything and everybody around. Please bear in mind that Rottweilers are dogs which tend to tolerate rather than love children. Most often, children in the family are simply avoided with awe - but only if the human-dog relationship is governed strictly by the principle of democratic centralism in which, moreover, the human factor is in a privileged position.

You can rest assured that the Rotties bred within the Club are of guaranteed stock as regards appearance as well as health, soundness and temperament. By rule, our dogs will calmly face the hardships of life, rarely complaining. They will endure severe physical pain and will, unfortunately, let us know about it only when it becomes unbearable. They are always at our side and are never mean. A true Rottweiler will never mislead us and is never duplicitous. He will display a German directness in his relationship with us and with the surrounding world. If necessary, he will readily sacrifice his life for us -which is hardly one of our virtues if seen from his point of view. He is a relatively quick learner without being particularly fond of learning. If we fail to discover the key to his boundless vitality and working ability, we will have a companion in life who is rather indifferent and sometimes annoying in his assertiveness.

Improperly and insufficiently socialized Rottweilers are often inclined to dominate both over their owners and the entire moving world around them. In this connection, let me say that Rottweilers aren't dogs for lonely ladies looking for a bodyguard in life, or for fragile elderly people who want a pet to cuddle and to keep them company. Rotties need to work for us and to know their exact place in the hierarchy in their relationship with us and with the world at large. If you want a dog to go jogging with for hours, please get a hound or a setter. If you want to spend your time walking the dog chatting cosily with fellow dog owners without needing to keep a constant eye on your dog, please get a Retriever, a Mops or a budgie. If you want a dog that is independent, unfriendly or vicious to others, get a Chow Chow or Fila Brasileiro. Please don't believe the nonsense you've heard from wannabe hunters claiming that Rotties are fearless hunters of boars... Yes, but no: in nine out of ten cases, an encounter between a boar and a Rottweiler will end tragically for the dog precisely because of his fearlessness.

And if you want a dog to tie on a chain in the garden, please know that people like you should never own a dog. No dog deserves owners like you...And last but not least, NEVER buy a ROTT from a pet store!
